About Oman E-Invoicing

Oman's Tax Authority has now published its e-invoicing FAQ and operating model. The programme uses a 5-corner architecture in which suppliers and buyers interact through accredited service providers while tax data is also reported to the Oman Tax Authority. The official FAQ confirms a phased rollout starting with 100 large VAT-registered companies in August 2026, then expanding to all large VAT taxpayers in February 2027 and all remaining VAT-registered taxpayers in August 2027. Government institutions will follow in a later phase.
