About Chad E-Invoicing
Chad has no operational e-invoicing mandate as of May 2026. The Direction Générale des Impôts continues to operate under conventional invoicing rules. The country is a member of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) alongside Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea — and faces growing regional pressure as Gabon and Cameroon both introduced mandatory e-invoicing under their respective 2026 Finance Laws. CEMAC itself has signalled it may need an independent collection mechanism for the Community Integration Tax, citing under-remittance by member states. Chad's own domestic e-invoicing roadmap has not yet been formally published. Businesses should monitor announcements via the Ministry of Finance.
